Reflexology Rings and Bracelets
Also referred to as acupressure rings and bracelets.
Also referred to as acupressure rings and bracelets.
How do they work?
As with foot reflexology, the reflexes of the body are mapped on our hands. By applying alternating pressure to the reflex points it can move the energy within. This can remind the body to heal, create feelings of relaxation or stimulate the area being worked.
Alternating pressure stimulates whereas consistent pressure numbs.
How do I use them?
The ring and the bracelet are tools which are easily used for you to give yourself a reflexology treatment.
By rolling the ring over your fingers you are working the reflexes of the neck and head, including the sinus, brain, eyes, ears and the pituitary, pineal (third eye) and hypothalamus glands. So if you have a headache, maybe sinuses are stuffy or needing to kick the brain into action - try the reflexology ring.
Using the bracelet over your wrists, palms and back of the hands you are working the rest of the body. The palm under the fingers is the thoracic region - heart, lungs, airways and shoulders. Under that is the abdominal or digestive and elimination regions - stomach, liver, spleen, small and large intestines. Above the wrist, elimination and reproductive regions - large intestine, uterus, ovary, prostrate, testes. The wrist area is where you find the reflex for pelvic region. Back or dorsal of the hand you find your shoulders, back and ribs - reflexes for the lymph are also located here. Try the bracelet for digestive troubles or poor elimination - this treatment could ease your symptoms and promote wellness.
The spine reflex runs below the heel of the palm and up the out edge of the thumb - great for you back at the end of a busy day.
Remember the left hand represents the left side on the body and the right hand is the right side.
